## About the Event

An open lecture bringing together technology, life sciences, and AI.

Speakers will share real-world stories of building health-tech startups, applying machine learning in medicine, and designing wearable devices for research and everyday life.

Join us to explore how humans and technology are becoming increasingly connected.

  1. Kuba Domaszewicz – The Next Extension of Ourselves
  2. TBA

Abstract

This session will explore how wearable devices are designed around human needs, from the initial idea to prototyping, user testing, and final design. We will discuss the human factors that influence design decisions and how feedback from users shapes the development process. The lecture will also cover how researchers use wearable technology to collect physiological data and how devices are adapted to meet scientific requirements. Students will gain insight into the iterative process of creating technology that is both user-friendly and research-ready.

Bio

Jakub Domaszewicz is the Co-Founder of Aidlab, a startup developing wearable devices for health monitoring and research. He has over a decade of experience in health data analysis and signal processing. Under his leadership, Aidlab’s technology is now used by over 120 institutions worldwide, including MIT, Stanford, and Mitsubishi. His work focuses on transforming raw physiological signals into meaningful health insights. Passionate about transparency and scientific accuracy, he advocates for honest communication in the wearable technology space.

The event will be held in English.

We will also host guest students from the Intermate group (AFExCIE 2025)

## Registration

The lecture is open to everyone, but registration is required.
